I take inspiration from my interests, particularly TV shows, films and games. It is important to me to choose people or symbols that I feel sum up a genre from a single image. I enjoy capturing characters and stories within my work through my use of textures and digital refinements. Something I like to show within this subject matter is my ability to successfully capture features and characteristics about these figures that people know and love.
The Night King from HBO's Game of Thrones. A great study for capturing his skin texture.
My interpretation of The Witch King as seen in "Lord of the Rings Return of the King"
The Seer as featured in the TV show "Vikings"
A very iconic character from "Donnie Darko". Capturing his eerie presence was my main concern in this painting.
The Faun from Guillermo del Toro classic film "Pan's Labyrinth"
One of the creepiest characters in film. "The Pale Man" from " Pan's Labyrinth".
The break out star from "The Mandolorian".
The cute little drone as featured in the "Star Wars Sequel Trilogy".
Crash Bandicoot's mentor and sidekick from the Playstation video games.
Aku Aku's evil brother from the Playstation video games "Crash Bandicoot".
The Ice King from Cartoon Network's 'Adventure Time'
My interpretation of "Niffler" stealing the Golden Snitch as seen in "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them"
